Specific Duties:

  • Records and tracks daily trading and investment transactions.
  • Prepares daily, and whenever requested, assists with providing indicative and live quotes of financial securities for the Sales and Marketing Group.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of actual securities balances versus system reports and accounting data. ·Prepares management reports as required.
  • Assist in the establishment of counterparty lines with other financial institutions.
  • Prepare documents that will be required by counterparties (Financial Statements, KYC documents, signature cards, board resolutions, etc)
  • Participate in economic and product briefings sponsored by other institutions.
  • Develop rapport with counterparty contacts to identify opportunities and gather insights that may affect our business.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Group Head.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
  • Basic experience as a trading assistant, position analyst, or junior trader, in peso-denominated government and corporate debt securities, with a decent understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics, and risk management techniques.
  • Basic analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to make informed trading decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of local and global financial markets, economic indicators, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial monitoring system, trading platforms, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and make swift decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
