Treasury Assistant
Role Summary:
Responsible for recording and tracing daily trading and investment transactions
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Records and tracks daily trading and investment transactions.
Prepares daily, and whenever requested, assists with providing indicative and live quotes of financial securities for the Sales and Marketing Group.
Assist in the reconciliation of actual securities balances versus system reports and accounting data.
Prepares management reports as required.
Assist in the establishment of counterparty lines with other financial institutions.
Prepare documents that will be required by counterparties (Financial Statements, KYC documents, signature cards, board resolutions, etc).
Participate in economic and product briefings sponsored by other institutions.
Develop rapport with counterparty contacts to identify opportunities and gather insights that may affect our business.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Group Head.
Competencies required:

Basic experience as a trading assistant, position analyst, or junior trader, in peso-denominated government and corporate debt securities, with a decent understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics, and risk management techniques.

Basic analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to make informed trading decisions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Basic knowledge of local and global financial markets, economic indicators, and regulatory frameworks.

Proficiency in financial monitoring system, trading platforms, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and make swift decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
